It was announced last month in March, that Kambi had plans to launch their sportsbook into the Swedish market. Since then however, the online suppliers have decided to push on forward by sharing their sportsbook with William Hill.

William Hill, who are currently in the Swedish gambling industry using the name Redbet.se, will change to WilliamHill.se, and will use the Kambi Sportsbook for their personalized webpage.

Kristian Nylén, the Kambi CEO, has since stated the following:

“It’s a little bit tough for us to have a clear picture of it because we signed a very major customer in ATG. We expected this would be one of the top four Swedish sports betting brands early on.

“Obviously, that would have had some cannibalisation from existing customers, having other operators in the Swedish market. But, in total, I think the sports betting market is doing very, very well in Sweden. Our figures support that.”

Kambi’s CEO has also given a detailed interview recently about the future of the company and how he sees the US gambling market grow at a rapid pace. If you wish to learn more about his interview, check out the latest online gambling news for further reference.
