Svenska Spel Expansion Through Supplier SBTech

Within the partnership, it has not yet been described the exact length of the deal, but the supplier described it as being for the long-term.

This move for SBTech is very similar to one which they pulled earlier this year by partnering up with Veikkaus, the Finnish monopoly operator.

Both deals are a push for expansion to the Nordic realm.

Furthermore, SBTech’s partnership with Danske Spil sees the supplier provide a full-platform for the Danish operator’s brand Youbet.

Here’s a few words from Chief Development Officer at SBTech, Andrew Cochrane:

“We are incredibly proud and excited to have been awarded this partnership with Svenska Spel Sport and Casino AB following an extremely rigorous selection process.

“To have secured one WLA member agreement this year has been a huge achievement, but to now have three large-scale government projects underway is phenomenal.”

We are left to believe that the deal between SBTech and Svenska Spel is a win-win for both parties.

As for SBTech, their expansion in the Nordic realm continues to grow with this acquisition, whilst Svenska Spel have now got a supplier with huge credibility and a fascinating reputation.
